Norwegian Cruise Line passengers are used to having many options when they sail with the cruise line, especially when it comes to dinner.

The cruise line even made “more” its new brand positioning recently, since it introduced a cruise package “more in the sea” improved offered to passengers more premium drink options, more specialized meals and other advantages.
But the cruise lines wants to balance more with less in some cases. When it comes to dinner, Norwegian's research has found to have slightly smaller and simpler restaurants menus increases operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings CEO Harry Sommer, explained in an interview with Travel weekly that eliminating a third of the elements of the menu of their restaurant that the passengers were not ordering allowed the cruise line to do a better job when delivering the dishes that the passengers were asking.
But as the leadership of the cruise line continues to make adjustments to improve operations, they seem to be learning that they must be careful not to remove some of the key options that their passengers expect.

Norwegian reverse an unpopular change in the Cagney grill menu
Passengers who were used to having options that allow them to customize their meals were not happy with a recent menu change at the Norwegian Specialized Restaurant, Cagney's Steakhouse. Instead of offering passengers their choice of garrisons, the updated menu combined each main dish with specific and preselected sides.
Fortunately, the cruise line listened to the comments of the passengers and quickly changed the menu to offer garrison options again.

In comments on Norwegian's facebook publication about change, many passengers expressed their enthusiasm for having the option to choose their own garrisons in the popular grill.
“Very happy to hear that the sides have returned,” Yvonne Corredori wrote. “Cagneys is one of our favorite places to eat. Thanks ncl “.
Passengers have more comments about Norwegian
While passengers are happy to know that the cruise line is listening to their comments, some made it clear that there are more things that want to see Norwegian cruises return.
“Thank you very much for responding to your customers. The food is a significant factor in my choice of cruise lines, and I was very upset to climb my options, ”said Susan Rynard. “I know that NCL Norwegian Cruise Line is dedicating a line between costs and service (and, frankly, I think it has gone too far in entertainment, I want Broadway shows to return!) But this is at least a small recognition Customer preference. So this time, I will reserve with NCL again. ”
