Investing.com – The Mexican stock market closed lower this Monday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close in Mexico, the fell 0.69%.
The best value of the session was Gentera SAB de CV (BMV:), with an increase of 5.37%, 1.29 points, to close at 25.31. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB De CV Class B (BMV:) advanced 2.30%, 7.66 points, to close at 341.37, and América Móvil SAB de CV M (BMV:), which rose 1 .73%, 0.27 points, until closing the session at 15.90.
At the bottom of the index was Grupo Televisa SAB Unidad (BMV:), which fell 5.84%, that is, 0.55 points, to close at 8.86. Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV:) fell 2.75% or 4.23 points to close at 149.47 and Vesta SAB Real Estate Corporation (BMV:) fell 2.64%, 1.39 points, to 51.32.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexican Stock Exchange by 110 to 104 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares of Corporación Inmobiliaria Vesta SAB (BMV:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.64% or 1.39 to 51.32.
Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.40% or 10.60 to $2,665.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, Crude oil futures for delivery in November fell 4.90% or 3.70 to hit $71.86 a barrel, while Brent oil futures for delivery in December fell 1 0.20%, 0.15, up to $75.17 a barrel.
USD/MXN rose 0.07% to 19.38, while EUR/MXN fell 0.05% to 21.13.
US dollar index futures rose 0.30% to 102.98.
