Investing.com – The Mexican stock market closed lower this Friday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close in Mexico, the dollar fell 0.46%, reaching a new 52-week low.
The best value of the session was Quálitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV:), which rose 4.05%, 5.97 points, to close at 153.37. Behind, Grupo Comercial Chedraui, SAB De CV (BMV:), which advanced 3.79%, 4.81 points, to close at 131.81, and GCC SAB de CV (BMV:), which rose 3, 09%, 5.44 points, until ending the session at 181.59.
At the bottom of the index was Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV:), which fell 5.69%, that is, 9.47 points, to close at 157.06. Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (BMV fell 2.99% or 15.93 points to close at 516.22 and Vesta SAB Real Estate Corporation (BMV:) fell 2.48%, 1.23 points, to 48.31.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Mexican Stock Exchange by 106 to 94 and 11 ended unchanged.
Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.34% or 8.99 to $2,673.79 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, Crude oil futures for delivery in January fell 0.84% or 0.58 to hit $68.14 a barrel, while Brent oil futures for delivery in February fell 0.84% or 0.58 to $68.14 a barrel. 0.98%, 0.71, to $72.07 a barrel.
USD/MXN fell 0.16% to 20.38, while EUR/MXN was unchanged 0.01% to 21.56.
US dollar index futures were down 0.24% at 105.79.
