BERLIN (Reuters) – Four of Lufthansa's six current board members, including its chief financial officer Remco Steenbergen, will resign at the end of June, the company said on Thursday.
Michael Niggemann, board member in charge of human resources and infrastructure, will serve as chief financial officer on an interim basis, while Grazia Vittadini, now at Rolls-Royce (OTC:), will join the board as chief technology officer .
The board will be reduced from six members to five, with Dieter Vranckx, now CEO of Lufthansa's Swiss subsidiary, becoming a board member for global markets and international hubs.
Harry Hohmeister, board member for global markets and networks, and Detlef Keyser, board member for fleet and technology, will also resign.
