Investing.com – Japan stocks closed higher on Friday as gains across the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best interpreters of the session in the were Taisei Corporation (TYO:), which rose 190.00 points or 4.63% to trade at 4,290.00 at close. In the meantime, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. (TYO:) added 4.15% or 56.00 points to finish at 1,405.00 and Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. (TYO:) was up 79.00 points or 4.13% to 1,993.00 in late trade.
The worst results of the session were Kikkoman Corporation. (TYO:), which fell 90.00 points or 1.33% to trade at 6,690.00 at close. Casio Computer Co., Ltd. (TYO:) declined 1.20% or 16.00 points to end at 1,319.00 and fujitsu ltd (TYO:) was down 160.00 points or 0.87% to 18,310.00.
Bullish stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 2,501 to 1,019 and 296 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery rose 0.42, or 0.52%, to $81.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trade, Brent oil for March delivery rose 0.39, or 0.45%, to hit $86.55 a barrel, while the February Gold futures contract rose 0. 38% or 7.30 to trade at $1,931.20 a troy ounce.
USD/JPY was up 0.32% at 128.84, while EUR/JPY was up 0.45% at 139.66.
US dollar index futures were up 0.04% at 101.87.
