Investing.com – Israel stocks closed lower on Sunday as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, it was down 2.28% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best interpreters of the session in the were Ormat Technologies (TASE:), which rose 340.00 points or 1.13% to trade at 30,470.00 at close. For its part, Nice Ltd (TASE:) added 0.16% or 120.00 points to close at 74,100.00 and elbit systems Ltd (TASE:) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points at 61,570.00 in late trade.
The worst results of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.66% or 284.00 points to trade at 4,736.00 at close. Melisron (TASE:) declined 5.36% or 1,160.00 points to finish at 20,500.00 and Shikun and Binui (TASE:) was down 5.08% or 45.00 points at 840.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 415 to 50 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery rose 1.06, or 1.41%, to $76.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trade, Brent oil for May delivery rose 1.02, or 1.24%, to settle at $82.82 a barrel, while the April gold futures contract fell 0. 48% or 8.80 to trade at $1,818.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.07% at 3.66, while EUR/ILS was up 0.62% at 3.87.
US dollar index futures were up 0.63% at 105.19.
