Investing.com – The Israel stock market closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the dollar gained 1.02%, reaching a new all-time high.
The best performer of the session was Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), up 8.89% or 400.00 points to close at 4,900.00. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:) added 4.55% or 1,850.00 points to end at 42,540.00 and Shikun and Binui (TASE:) rose 3.66% or 31.50 points to 893.00 at the end of the session.
The worst results of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.62% or 830.00 points to close at 30,870.00. Nova (TASE:) fell 1.07%, 850.00 points, to close at 78,510.00, and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which fell 0.39%, 16.00 points, to close at 4,133 .00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 129 and 92 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.43% or 0.97 to $68.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for December delivery rose 0.63% or 0.45 to hit $71.54 a barrel, while Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.63% or 0.45. 52%, 14.10, to $2,680.80 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.81% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.73% to 4.16.
US dollar index futures were down 0.14% at 100.11.
