Investing.com – The Israel stock market closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the dollar gained 0.81%, reaching a new 52-week high.
The best value of the session was Nova (TASE:), with an increase of 7.45%, 4,530.00 points, to close at 65,330.00. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) advanced 2.58%, or 121.00 points, to close at 4,820.00, and Shikun and Binui (TASE:) rose 2.35% or 23.00 points to 979.00 at the end of the session.
The worst results of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:), which fell 1.98%, that is, 280.00 points, to close at 13,850.00. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) fell 1.08% or 52.00 points to close at 4,748.00 and energix (TASE:) fell 0.97%, or 13.00 points, to 1,326.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 162 and 75 ended unchanged.
Nova (TASE:) shares rose to all-time highs; earning 7.45% or 4,530.00 to 65,330.00.
Crude oil for April delivery rose 1.98% or 1.55 to $79.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for May delivery rose 1.89% or 1.55 to hit $83.46 a barrel, while Gold futures for April delivery rose 1. 80%, 36.90, to $2,091.60 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS fell 0.18% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS rose 0.13% to 3.86.
US dollar index futures were down 0.26% at 103.82.
