Hewlett Packard Company (NYSE:HPE) is acquiring OpsRamp for an undisclosed term.
OpsRamp is an IT Operations Management (ITOM) company that monitors, observes, automates, and manages IT infrastructure, cloud resources, workloads, and applications for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
“Customers today are managing many different cloud environments, with different IT operating models and tools, dramatically increasing the cost and complexity of managing digital operations,” said Fidelma Russo, CTO, Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “The combination of OpsRamp and HPE will remove these barriers by providing customers with an integrated edge-to-cloud platform that can more effectively manage and transform multi-vendor, multi-cloud IT estates. This acquisition furthers HPE’s hybrid cloud leadership and extends the reach of the HPE GreenLake platform in IT operations management.”
By acquiring the company, HPE will be able to provide comprehensive support for multi-cloud and hybrid IT infrastructures, expanding its service portfolio to include advisory, operational and managed services through HPE GreenLake.
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of HPE’s fiscal year 2023.
OpsRamp’s technology will be included in HPE’s GreenLake platform, available separately as a service, and integrated into the company’s computing, storage and network solutions.
