Investing.com – Greece stocks closed lower on Thursday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close in Athens, the dollar fell 0.32%, hitting a new one-month low.
The best performers of the session were Cenergia Holdings SA (AT:), which rose 3.02%, 0.26 points, to close at 8.88. Meanwhile, intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:) added 2.98%, 0.14 points, to close at 4.84 and Thrace Plastic (AT:) rose 1.62%, 0.06 points, ending the session at 3.77.
The worst results of the session were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:), which fell 4.43%, that is, 0.12 points, to close at 2.59. Elton S.A. (AT:) fell 4.23% or 0.08 points to close at 1.72 and Fourlis Hld (AT:) fell 3.18%, 0.12 points, to 3.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 74 to 48 and 19 ended unchanged.
Domiki Kritis SA (AT:) shares fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.43% or 0.12 to 2.59.
Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.44% or 12.00 to $2,741.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, Crude oil futures for delivery in December fell 0.92% or 0.65 to hit $70.12 a barrel, while Brent oil futures for delivery in December fell 1 0.79%, 0.59, to $74.37 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% at 1.08, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.11% at 0.83.
US Dollar Index futures were down 0.20% at 104.07.
