Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, it was up 0.70% to hit a new one-month high, while the index gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session were Accor SA (EPA:), which rose 2.91% or 1.05 points to close at 37.10, while Veolia Environnement VE SA (EPA:) rose 1.76% or 0.51 points to close at 29.51 and Publicis Group SA (EPA:) rose 1.73% or 1.64 points to 96.66 in late trading.
At the bottom of the list was Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:), which fell 0.44% or 0.15 points to close at 34.25, while Capgemini SE (EPA:) lost 0.27% or 0.50 points to close at 182.55. Hermes International SCA (EPA:) fell 0.18% or 4.00 points to 2,195.00.
The best performing stocks on the SBF 120 were Opmobility SE (EPA:), which rose 4.87% to 8.95, Emeis SA (EPA:), which rose 3.45% to 9.00, and elior Group (EPA:), which gained 3.18% to close at 3.31.
The worst performers were Europe SAS (EPA:), which fell 7.05% to close at 4.22 at the end of the session, Ayvens SA (EPA:), which lost 1.27% to close at 6.24, and SCOR SE (EPA:), which fell 0.79% to close at 18.94.
On the Paris Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks by 290 to 174, and 107 closed unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged at 0.00% at 18.96, a new 52-week high.
Gold futures for December delivery rose 1.05%, or 26.45%, to trade at $2,543.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities, crude oil futures for October delivery rose 2.47%, or 1.80%, to trade at $74.81 a barrel, while Brent crude oil futures for October delivery rose 2.32%, or 1.79%, to trade at $79.01 a barrel.
EUR/USD rose 0.58% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.21% to 0.85.
The US dollar futures index fell 0.65% to 100.74.
