Fisker (New York Stock Exchange: FSR) announced Friday that the year's final over-the-air software update for the Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV has begun.
The electric vehicle maker expects to fully roll out the update to its customers' latest cars by the end of January. 2024. Fisker (FSR) said it plans to continue its strong approach to software updates, noting that it is making a strategic shift toward a phased rollout plan to leverage learnings from previous releases and properly test the wireless channel. . In the first quarter of 2024, Fisker expects more updates to improve the capabilities of the SolarSky roof; improve torque distribution between the front and rear wheels; introduce a hill hold function and one-pedal driving; alter the external sound of the vehicle and adjust the sound of the locking and unlocking audio signals in response to customer feedback; improve keychain functionality; improve the audio experience; enter a pet mode for your convenience; and add ADAS functions, among improvements.
