Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the dollar gained 0.67%.
The best performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 2.90%, 0.27 points, to close at 9.39. It was followed by Cargotec Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.12%, 1.12 points, to close at 53.88, and Orion Oyj B (HE:), which rose 1.69%, 0.75 points , until ending the session at 45.14.
The worst results of the session were strong Oyj (HE:), which fell 1.90%, or 0.28 points, to close at 14.23. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) fell 0.23%, 0.03 points, to close at 10.62, and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) fell 0.19%, or 0.02 points, to close at 9.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 70 and 18 ended unchanged.
Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) shares fell to their lowest level in three years; falling 0.19% or 0.02 to 9.30.
Brent oil for January delivery rose 0.96% or 0.71 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil futures for delivery in January rose 1.20% or 0.84 to hit $70.94 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in December rose 1. 22%, 32.75, to $2,707.65 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD fell 0.72% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
US dollar index futures rose 0.63% to 107.61.
