Gates drew a lot of attention for his views last week.
The Twitter spat between Elon Musk and Bill Gates is still going strong after the former questions the latter’s technical expertise when it comes to artificial intelligence.
Gates made headlines last week after posting a blog declaring that “the age of AI has begun”. By the time his eyes widened after reading that headline, Gates’ views on GhatGPT and AI made big news on social media.

And Elon Musk isn’t about to let Bill Gates get more attention than him on social media of all places.
Musk was an early investor in ChatGPT’s parent company, OpenAI, and is credited as a co-founder. He left the company’s board in 2018, citing a conflict of interest with his work at Tesla.
But there are recent reports that Musk tried to directly oversee the company’s operations in 2018, but was rebuffed by other co-founders, including current CEO Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, who is now the company’s chairman.
Traffic lights reported that Musk followed through on his promise to provide the company with $1 billion in funding after he left, leaving the company with only a $100 million contribution.
Twitter’s TheStreet’s request for comment received an automated poop emoji response.
Meanwhile, Gates compared artificial intelligence to the revolutions of the mobile phone and the Internet.
“It will change the way people work, learn, travel, get health care and communicate with each other. Entire industries will reorient themselves around this,” Gates said.
