Now that January and its cold weather have arrived, many Americans are turning their attention to vacation planning for 2024.
Costco Trips (COST) – Get a free report is offering some opportunities with Disney (DIS) – Get a free report for people to take advantage of some money savings on travel.

The Costco Journey website Frequently presents offers on vacation packages, hotels and rental cars. It also includes offers to sail the high seas on cruises.
Costco Travel does not offer air travel alone, but it does include airfare in its vacation packages.
Requires a different setup than the regular Costco shopping account. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
Notably, anyone can view vacation deals on the Costco Travel website, but you must be a member to see prices and make reservations.
Disney cruises can be booked now through Costco Travel
Disney Cruise Line sailings are currently available for family vacations at Costco Travel.
“Book select Disney trips with a reduced deposit” wrote Costco Travel. “Embark on a tropical cruise to the Caribbean or the Bahamas, or choose from other fun-filled itineraries to Alaska, Europe, Mexico and beyond. With exciting voyages sailing from Florida, Texas and California, there's no better time to set sail with Disney Cruise Line on that family vacation you've been dreaming of.”
Reservations for featured deals on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts must be submitted by February 16, so they should happen relatively soon, but there's plenty of time to plan. All of these trips include a reduced deposit to make booking easier.
Atlantic Coast
Costco Travel offers a four-night cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Bahamas for prices starting at $1,304. Additional government taxes, fees and port charges amount to $103.
“Embark on an unforgettable Bahamas cruise to discover a world of sand, surf and sun, plus all the leisure and magic of the tropics,” wrote Costco Travel. “A pleasant climate covers this sun-drenched region where recreation is renowned and landscapes are impressive.”
A cruise to the Caribbean and the Bahamas is also available, also departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. This is a three-night cruise from $551 with no additional charges for taxes, fees and port charges.
“Be one of the first to experience all-new enchantment aboard Disney Wish, where fantastical worlds and beloved stories from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar come to life like never before,” wrote Costco Travel. “Depart Port Canaveral, Florida, and travel to scenic locations awash in sun, sand and surf, including Castaway Cay, Disney's private island paradise. Set sail on a Bahamas cruise to discover a world of sand, surf and sun mixed together with all the leisure, recreation and magic of the tropics.”
Another offering is a five-night Gulf of Mexico cruise to Mexican ports, which costs $955 with an additional $130 cost that covers taxes, fees and port charges. This cruise does not depart from an Atlantic port, but rather departs from Galveston, Texas.
“Depart Galveston for an exciting five-night Western Caribbean cruise stopping in Progreso and Cozumel,” Costco Travel explained. “On board, lose yourself in original Broadway-quality entertainment. Indulge in world-class dining. From stem to stern, sail into unforgettable storytelling that only Disney could bring to life.”
Pacific Coast
Cruises sailing from the Pacific coast are also available with reduced deposits.
A cruise that is part of the offer sets sail from Vancouver, BC and disembarks in San Diego. The five-night trip costs from $985. An additional charge will be added for taxes, fees and port charges. Travelers may wish to book this cruise with additional overnight stays in one or both of these iconic cities.
“Admire the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific Coast as you sail south from cosmopolitan Vancouver to sunny San Diego,” wrote Costco Travel. “With endless entertainment, delicious dining and luxurious accommodations on board, you'll feel pampered throughout your entire trip.”
Costco Travel features a Baja California port on another Pacific coast sailing aboard the Disney Wonder ship. The three-night cruise costs from $771 with an additional $160 for taxes, fees and port charges.
