Commenters on the thread quickly reverted to the use of the word “remember,” which Musk publicly rejectedafter the NHTSA announcement in a Twitter exchange with Ark Invest director Sam Korus.
Some users sided with Musk over the use of the word “update” versus “recover.”
Quick is no stranger to responding to Twitter trolls on all sorts of topics, from his investment prospects to what he wears on screen.
Linguistic arguments aside, Tesla has faced 47 remember in total since 2009 that have included everything from improperly deploying airbags to autonomous driving issues that prevented cars from stopping properly at four-way intersections.
