Holland America Line will expand its season in Canada and New England in 2026 with more cruises, more ports of call and more overnight stays. It will also offer a new 28-day Legendary Voyage, “Canada, New England and Iceland,” which will take guests on an in-depth exploration of all three regions, all from the convenient home port of Boston.
From April to October, HAL's Zuiderdam and Volendam offer seven-day round-trip sailings from Boston, or between Boston and Montreal or Quebec City, Canada. Volendam also runs 10- and 11-day itineraries that delve into the Maritimes and include Newfoundland and New France.

Additionally, on June 20, 2026, guests will be able to embark on a new legendary 28-day “Canada, New England and Iceland” voyage aboard Volendam that will take them north to ports such as Portland, Maine and Sydney, Nova Scotia, before sailing east to Explore seven ports in depth in Iceland, followed by a return westward and four more ports of call in Atlantic Canada. The round trip to Boston includes three overnight stops in St. John's, Newfoundland; Reykjavík, Iceland; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Guests sailing on any of Holland America Line's 2026 Canada and New England cruises will have the opportunity to further enrich their journeys through experiences both on and off the ship.
- Destination Dining brings authentic flavors of Canada and New England on board, with local favorites served on the menus. Guests can savor Maine lobster, New England berries, Prince Edward Island mussels, North Atlantic cod, poutine and other port-to-plate specialties.
