For months, people have been asking Carnival brand ambassador John Heald to share which of his cruise line's voyages will be “Christmas cruises.” Carnival decorates its ships, has Santa Claus on board and offers other special Christmas treats.
Many passengers want to know if their navigation will offer these things, and Heald has been working to get that information for months. In fact, I had shared a list before, only to backtrack and tell people they needed to be a little more patient.

Some Carnival customers book cruises specifically because they want to celebrate Christmas, making this list even more important as the holiday season approaches.
Heald's colleague Jacinta posted the information on October 6 while the brand ambassador was on the road, visiting the company's headquarters in Miami and Carnival Venezia in New York.
“The following Christmas trips are when guests can expect to see Christmas decorations on display. The decoration will remain on display after Christmas and during New Year's Eve trips,” posted Jacinta, who does not share her last name.

Carnival passengers are excited
Hundreds of people thanked Heald and Jacinta for their posts.
“Thank you John and Jancita for listening to us and for your role in changing these dates. The fact is that we would have had a great time either way, but there is something extra fun about a Christmas boat,” Melissa Nieuwsma posted.
Amy Stepp also shared her gratitude.
“Thank you very much for the updated calendar! You have made a lot of people very happy,” he wrote.
Some people seem to really like Christmas decorations.
“We go through this time almost every year because of the decorations,” Janice Haynes posted.
More than 1,200 people gave the post a thumbs up or other positive reaction. However, there were people who were not happy.
“John Heald, I see you're on the Venezia today, and it's a beautiful ship. I'll be on it from November 24th to December 6th. I was really hoping it would be decorated for Christmas right after Thanksgiving. Anyway way possible. change your mind and do it before December 6?” asked Sherri Baker Hines.
Some were very dissatisfied.

“I am very disappointed! I booked a cruise on the Elation on November 30th because I wanted to enjoy a Christmas cruise. I was on it 2 years ago and it was beautiful. They decorated it after Thanksgiving! I am very upset about this ….Would cancel if I could. VERY disappointed,” wrote Marilyn Solomon.
