Carnival Cruise Line is very hot because of its strict drinks package policies.
When it comes to the Carnival Cheers drink package, many passengers do not like the cruise line to establish restrictions on how much they can consume, especially because the package costs more than $ 80 per day and should be bought during the entire duration of the cruise.

Not to mention that it is not allowed to share, and if an adult buys the package, the other adults assigned to their cabin must also buy it.
The Cheers drink package is not unlimited as the packages of other cruises, such as the Royal Caribbean Deluxe drink package. Carnival's Cheers package includes unlimited soft drinks, non -alcoholic beverages, specialized coffee and water, but limits alcoholic beverages to 15 drinks per period of 24 hours.
Although passengers often write to the carnival brand ambassador Cruise Line John Heald to complain about the rule of 15 drinks for alcoholic beverages, other passengers argue that the restriction is not worth it.

Passenger questions from the carnival cruise debate about the alcoholic beverage limit
“So, as a average person who enjoys a couple of cocktails during the day, a little wine with dinner and a couple of drinks in comedy shows, I can see how I could reach 8 in one day, is the limit of 15 drinks really a big problem?” An unidentified passenger recently wrote in a facebook message for the ambassador of the Carnival brand. “I will answer my own question and say that it is not. Does anyone really reach 15 drinks, John Heald?”
As the carnival brand ambassador shared the passenger message in a facebook post, he said that the cheers drink package of the cruise line is very popular and that the cruise line currently does not have any plan to alter it or add any other drink package option.
“Well, let me start by saying that the Cheers program is enormously popular. I know that people ask me all the time for shorter packages amended, but only to answer that I do not know plans to change or add any beverage program at this time,” said Heald.

When it comes to the limit of 15 drinks for alcoholic beverages, Heald urged passengers to use their own trial.
“As for 15, being the correct amount of alcoholic beverages in a 24 -hour period. I do not have the data to share how many handle 15 alcoholic beverages, but they please everyone, drink in a responsible way and do the best for you,” wrote the brand ambassador.
Heald also pointed out that passengers can enjoy unlimited non -alcoholic beverages with the Cheers package. These do not count for the limit of 15 alcoholic beverages.
“Ah, and with the Cheers program you can also enjoy unlimited soft drinks, non -alcoholic beverages, coffee, milk and water milkshakes.”
Carnival passengers share their cruise drink habits, requests
According to comments on the publication, some passengers manage to reach the limit of 15 eighths for alcoholic beverages. Some passengers even explained that having a limit causes some passengers to drink so many alcoholic beverages to feel that they are getting the value of their money.
“We have sailed in other lines where there is no numbered limit and I feel that this number becomes an objective instead of a limit. In other lines I feel less,” Dave Rossoow explained.
Some passengers would like to see that Carnival offers a package of alcoholic beverages of lower price that includes fewer drinks.
“15 drinks are enough. I am not a great drinker, but enjoy special drinks. However, the price is too expensive. I can't pay it,” Lynda Mae explained.

For passengers who do not drink alcohol, a non -alcoholic beverage package option that offers more variety of drinks than the unlimited cruise line soda package would be a welcome addition.
“When I was drinking, I reached 15 alcohol drinks at 7 pm more than once, but now I'm not drinking alcohol, but we want Carnival to offer coffee and other drink packages,” Joe Scichilone wrote.
“I wish you had an average package that presented specialized coffee, milkshakes, soft drinks and non -alcoholic beverages. I would definitely buy it,” added Amanda Wilkie.
