Winter isn't over yet, and if you're looking to stay warm and not end up with a colossal gas or electric bill at the end of the month, portable heaters are the way to go. They're even better if they're small enough to carry into any room or store under a desk, and if they're on sale? Consider it done.
The current no. The best-selling electric heater is now 50% off. The Okoium space heater comes with over 800 five-star ratings and buyers say it keeps them “warm and toasty all night.”

The heater has a number of features that make it worth purchasing. It oscillates, comes with a remote control, is quiet, and can completely heat a room in 15 minutes. But here's where things get interesting: The heater has a sensor that can detect when you enter a room (and then turn it on) and also when you leave (and then turn it off within three minutes). That's cool, or hot, depending on how you look at it.
In addition to being convenient, this also acts as an additional safety feature in addition to tip-over and overheating protection. “The best feature is the sensor that allows you to walk away and come back and it turns itself off,” one buyer wrote. “No more setting timers or accidentally leaving them on.”
Really, the most important feature of a heater is how well it can heat a space. One reviewer who called it a “lifesaver” wrote: “The boiler broke and coming back to a freezing room after a shower was murder. Now I turn this on when I get in the shower and when I come out my room is nice and toasty.” “This thing will (turn) our basement into a sauna in about 15 or 20 minutes,” another reviewer wrote.
The heater is also exceptionally easy to use, with a single-button design. “I have an electronic challenge so I was thrilled that all I had to do was plug it in and press the button,” one shopper wrote. “The remote control is very convenient. It heats an area quickly and almost silently. The glowing ember display is very nice.”
Speaking of those glowing embers, yes, there's a faux flame effect on the front of the heater, and it's a real hit with buyers looking for something that provides a little more ambience than a simple black box. “The little fire is very cute!” wrote one buyer. Another said: “My favorite part is the firelight. It adds so much character to my living room area, makes my living room feel very cozy.”
If it's not for you, you can also choose to turn off that effect completely.
If you're looking for a heater with some impressive features and that honestly looks really cool, buy the Okoium heater for 50% off.
