I don’t have unlimited amounts of money to spend on UK stocks. But here are four top penny stocks I’d buy for my Stocks and Stocks ISA if I had cash to invest.
I think they could deliver exceptional returns through the end of the decade, maybe longer.
Chaarat Gold
gold stocks like Chaarat gold they are famously sensitive to movements in the price of gold. This means that the profits of such companies could take a hit in the short term, as the Federal Reserve continues to raise interest rates. Rate increases boost the US dollar and make buying gold more expensive.
However, I still think that gold shares are an attractive asset to own. The yellow metal is one of the world’s leading safe haven products. So when sudden economic shocks occur, these businesses can help investors protect their wealth.
I particularly like Chaarat because of its strong production record. Production at its Kapan mine in Armenia reached a better-than-expected 63,000 ounces in 2022. The company also has interesting development assets in Kyrgyzstan.
ecological animal health
The animal medicine market is poised to expand strongly in the coming years. The amount people spend on their pets is constantly increasing, while increased meat consumption is driving demand for livestock treatments.
That is why I am considering investing in ecological animal health. This business specializes in providing medical products for animal feed. And it has operations in Latin America and Asia, where meat consumption is growing especially strongly.
The ongoing Covid-19 crisis in China poses significant risk to near-term earnings. The small-cap company earns a significant proportion of the country’s revenue. However, I think Eco Animal Health remains an attractive buy for long-term investors.
PD Poland
Weak consumer spending and higher cost inflation remain a danger for PD Poland. But I think the business is still a great penny stock to buy as demand for food delivery ignites.
The company is the master franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza brand in Poland. And both sales and profits remained strong in 2022 despite these headwinds. Comparable revenue increased 21% last year, while “profitability remained on a positive trend over the past six months”, he said last month.
I am also encouraged by the expansion of DP Poland to Croatia last June. Demand for takeout here is also forecast to rise as personal income levels improve.
nexus infrastructure
Housing construction activity should increase over the next decade. The government has set a target of 300,000 new homes a year to meet the needs of a growing population. This provides an excellent opportunity to nexus infrastructure to boost profits.
Penny stocks build infrastructure like roads and sewers into housing projects. Other services include the excavation of foundations, the creation of basements and the supply of reinforced concrete structures. This extensive experience makes him a popular choice among construction companies, which, in turn, helps them increase their profits.
I would buy Nexus Infrastructure shares even though earnings could be hit in the near term as the housing market cools.
