How Yves Saint Laurent comes by the NFT
In honor of the designer’s beloved Black Opium fragrances, YSL Beauty will launch 2014 “YSL Beauty Night Blocks” as part of an upcoming campaign. Of these, 2,000 will be original NFTs and 14 will be ultra rare. This issue is a nod to the year the first fragrance was launched. These Polygon-based assets will be available primarily to members of the YSL Beauty digital community.
To get their hands on NFTs, collectors need to purchase the fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent’s online store and they will get a digital asset along with it. This will be done after they download the official YSL Beauty wallet app. NFTs also come with a number of benefits including a gift voucher and access to exclusive content.
The second NFT release, dubbed “YSL Beauty Night Masters,” will see its proceeds donated to charity. Those who are already part of the YSL Beauty community will get early access to the private and public sales that will take place on March 1 and 3, 2023 respectively.
