What is ZEDx?
ZEDx is the next evolution of the web3 horse racing game ZED RUN and represents a complete revamp to improve the gaming and user experience. Built from the ground up, ZEDx incorporates a number of new features designed to optimize and enhance the digital horse racing experience. According to the official announcement, ZEDx will be “a big change” from its predecessor.
New features include 24/7 automated racing, a dynamic breeding auction, spectator participation and racehorse retirement. Additionally, the integration of the $ZED token will be central to the new ZEDx experience and will play a crucial role in the in-game economy and reward system.
Players can expect a more intuitive user interface, optimized for mobile devices and improved graphics powered by Unreal Engine, ensuring a completely immersive experience.
ZEDx beta testing is also underway and players will have the opportunity to participate to provide feedback before the official launch. More details on how to apply for beta testing will be released soon.
What happens to ZED RUN during the transition?
The current ZED RUN platform will continue to operate with ongoing events and rewards, along with the introduction of participation-based rewards to encourage continued participation during the transition.
Recognizing the loyalty of its player base, ZED RUN is implementing a transition plan that includes legacy rewards based on current participation and ownership. While existing horses will not be transferred directly to ZEDx, players will receive rewards such as starter riders and breeding horses to ensure a good start in the new game.
More details on the rewards system and transition plan will be finalized and shared by the end of next month.
