This season, the NFL’s iconic whiskey sponsor Crown Royal returned to the NFT scene with a new Web3 experience in partnership with Vayner3, one of the leading Web3 companies. The project titled “Crown Royal Chain of Gratitude” launched alongside the brand’s first ’60s Super Bowl ad. Basically, the new blockchain game involves NFT minting and exciting prizes while creating a new community.
Why did Crown Royal get a Super Bowl themed experience?
Super Bowl LVII was certainly one to remember, even for the NFT market! One of the best examples comes from Crown Royal, the official whiskey sponsor of the National Football League (NFL).
This year, his Canadian-themed announcement was also celebrated virtually with a new NFT project, “Crown Royal Chain of Gratitude.” In fact, this is the second blockchain experience for the iconic brand. His debut campaign titled “That deserves a crown” was equally successful.
For this launch, Crown Royal joined forces with Web3 consulting firm Vayner3 to create an NFT-powered experience.
How does the Crown Royal NFT game work?
In short, collectors can mint an NFT called “Token of Gratitude” through the official platform. Each minter will receive a unique link that they can send to a friend to grow a “gratitude chain.” If you want to participate, you can mint an NFT to start your own chain or get a link from a friend.
All in all, the core goal of Crown Royal’s NFT game is for each player to grow as large a chain as possible. Wearers with the largest Chains of Gratitude can earn a custom Crown Royal cape. Plus, one lucky collector may receive a custom pair of Crown Royal sneakers!
