The blinking skull NFT GIFs that make up this collection celebrate the cycle of life and death and its correspondence with the repetition of zero and one in the digital world.

Because: Drawing inspiration from the work of James Kerry Marshall and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the works of Nick Davis have become a reflection of the raw emotions African-Americans experience as they navigate the joys and struggles of everyday life. Although Davis passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 31, this collection will keep his legacy alive. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to his wife to ensure that he can continue his memory and love of art.

Because: After a foray into Web3 in 2022, Axiom Space, a company focused on building next-generation space stations and spacesuits, is launching an NFT membership pass in collaboration with artist Amber Vittoria. Called Space3 Boarding Pass, the project aims to foster a true Web3 community focused on space exploration.

Because: Miners of Mars is a collection of 7,000 hand-drawn miners by Marvel Comics artist Aleksa Gajic, best known for her work on Scourge of the Gods. Initially launched on Solana, the project is now connecting to Ethereum with a March 1 mint. NFTs from this new collection will only be available to holders of the original Solana Collection through a cross-chain incubator.

Because: Momoguro is the newest franchise from the nine-time Emmy Award-winning team at Baobab Studios. As the studio’s first Web3 effort, Momoguro focuses on the Holoself Avatars, a collection of NFTs that correspond to something called the “Uno Plane” and will have utility within the Momoguro Metaverse. Apart from the avatars, Baobab says they already have multiple story-based strategy RPGs, Token-controlled Momoguro games built and in beta testing that will correspond to the Uno Plane.
