Titled The Backwingers, the collection focuses on those “on the fringes of society who possess more strength and more determination than the best of us.”

Because: Blondish teamed up with Evolution Music and Deep Grooves to produce the world’s first biodegradable vinyl made by replicating plastic bacteria. To introduce the project, Blondish will release “Life Is…”, the intro track from the #PlasticFreeParty album via Sound.xyz.

Because: Animoca Brands has partnered with Meta Hollywood (planet hollywood Web3 venture) to launch an IRL private members club in Los Angeles. Accessible only to members through four unique types of memberships purchasable through tokens, the club will act as the physical meeting place for the larger Web3 community. It will open in the second half of 2023.

Because: Pixelynx, the video game/music metaverse company founded by deadmau5 and richie hawtin – which was recently acquired by Animoca Brands – is set to open early access to its flagship Web3 game elynkhir through a limited edition NFT collection called The Droplet. Each of the 9,000 free NFT drops will feature collectible music from nine artists at the forefront of Web3 music and grant holders early access to the Elynxir platform.

The release will give fans access to a never-before-heard version of Bowie’s iconic hit, Let’s Dancewith all initial proceeds to be donated to MusicCares.
