TRON DAO presents the qualifiers and winners of HackaTRON season 7, supported by Google Cloud as a Diamond sponsor

Geneva, Switzerland, November 19, 2024 – TRON DAOin collaboration with co-hosts DAO Cooperative, BTTCand JustLend DAOproudly announced the qualifiers and winners of HackaTRON Season 7, a dynamic hackathon that united global innovators and showcased exceptional talents within the TRON ecosystem.

TRON was honored to have Google cloud as a diamond sponsor of HackaTRON S7. Google Cloud delivers a streamlined, fully integrated ai stack, complete with planet-scale infrastructure, customer-built chips, and a powerful development platform, designed to accelerate transformative solutions.

The competition attracted more than 1,300 participants who developed cutting-edge blockchain projects. This season, participants transformed the digital landscape through five specialized themes: Web3, DeFi, Artistry, Builder and Integration, each with projects that drove blockchain innovation.

This season of HackaTRON fueled a productive competition, leading to a number of winners chosen by both expert judges and the TRON community, as listed below.

Judge-selected qualifiers

The best participants in each category received the following prizes: the champion received $25,000; the second, $15,000; third place, $10,000; and those in fourth and fifth place received $8,000 and $6,000, respectively.

The Web3 category recognized teams that advanced the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 by creating innovative DAO tools, SocialFi platforms, blockchain/web infrastructure, SDKs, and various dApps. The winners are:

Prize distribution and what's next

Winners selected by the community in the top five of their respective tracks will receive 100% of the prize amount immediately. For qualifiers selected by the judges, 30% of the prize amount will be distributed in advance, and the remaining 70% will be awarded upon the launch of their projects on the TRON mainnet. The deadline to meet this requirement is December 3.
