web3 Technology Platform, feature.io, has secured the services of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ co-writer David Ayer to help write and produce his upcoming ‘Lollipop’ racing experience. The project will feature an immersive entertainment driven aspect with a storytelling and gaming element, all supported by Polygon NFT.
Feature.io CEO Steven Ilous originally pitched the idea to Ayer, with big plans to build a full Web3 multimedia car racing experience. Ilous points out that Ayer is a big fan of Web3 technology and bought into the idea from the start. Lollipop will not only be a game but a “interactive media experience” which the team has yet to fully conceptualize. According to a company statement, the project “combines elements of episodic streaming, gaming, and professional sports.”
The CEO also offers additional information on what to expect. He notices “There are digital collectibles, there is a streaming narrative component, and there is gamification.” However, it has distanced itself from the term “non-fungible tokens”, instead opting to use the less controversial name “digital collectibles” for its blockchain-based assets.

A pioneering Feature.io experience
At the moment, it is not yet clear in what capacity digital collectibles will be included in the project. However, everyone involved seems to be excited about its potential. Ryan Watt, president of Polygon Labs, defines the project “truly pioneer”.
He goes on to add that “Feature spearheads the future of storytelling and uses Polygon’s blockchain technology to create a whole new type of media.”
For now, fans can only wait to see what this interactive experience will bring.
