Following the introduction of its Polygon-based loyalty program in December 2022, Starbucks Korea have announced that they will begin issuing NFTs on Polygon in January 2024, as part of their campaign to encourage customers to use reusable cups.
Customers can accumulate “eco-stamps” by purchasing eligible beverages, which can be redeemed for limited-edition NFTs.

These limited-edition Starbucks NFTs have been developed in collaboration with South Korean art platform Print Bakery and renowned nft artist DADAZ.
In addition to its launch, Starbucks will hold an exhibition at its Starbucks Reserve store in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to showcase the NFTs and highlight its progress in sustainability so far.
Complimentary drink vouchers are now being offered to Starbucks Korea customers who purchase a reusable cup. These will be renamed “Eco Tumbler Drink Coupons” in parallel with the nft rewards as part of their broader eco-friendly campaign.
