Manchester City Football Club has partnered with Power of Women for their sixth collaborative NFT release, celebrating International Women’s Day 2023. The collection, titled “I am EMPOWERED”, consists of five pieces of digital art showcasing the passion and diversity of women in football.

As part of Manchester City’s International Women’s Day celebrations, this latest collection follows the success of the football club’s previous NFT installments. Subsequently, the soccer club continues to expand its presence and community in the NFT space.
The collaborative digital art drop consists of five unique pieces. These are titled I am powerful, I am proud, I am fearless, I am brave and I am resilient. Noted NFT artist Leah Sams has created the collection in her signature bold and beautiful style. Significantly, the NFT Collection features artwork that celebrates the passion and diversity of women in soccer today.
Additionally, the artwork showcases the uniquely designed range of Man City x PUMA Pankhurst kits. Of course, Mancunian Emmeline Pankhurst is the inspiration behind it. The Manchester City men’s team will wear the kit during the warm-up and strike at their upcoming Premier League football match. Meanwhile, Manchester City Women will play in the kit for their FA Women’s Super League match.
All proceeds from the sales of the NFT collection will go to the Football Club’s official charity, City in the Community. Specifically, the City Girls program will benefit from the funds. This program provides safe spaces for young women to participate in soccer.
