Everyone loves an epic comeback story and the infamous NFT project, pixelmon, seems to be about to assemble one of his own. The game, which had some issues last year, recently released a preview of its pre-game alpha material.
The trailer, which was posted on his official social media account, shows off some of the game’s characters and their enhanced abilities.

A comeback of NFT
The teaser videos that have been released so far show off characters like the Wuffler and the Borg and have been well received by their fans and the community at large. This, however, is a far cry from the reception Pixelmon had last year.
When NFTs initially launched in February 2022, fans criticized its visuals and design, but were especially critical of one of its main characters named Kevin, whom many found uninspiring. This came after the game grossed around $70 million and enjoyed immense pre-reveal anticipation from the community.
However, Pixelmon seems to be following an epic redemption arc. In September, he launched improved visuals and a slick website to showcase the improvements that had been made following fan feedback. He also highlighted its incoming alpha gameplay, a promise he has since kept. Given the positive reception the teasers have gotten thus far, Pixelmon could be on its way to reaching its full potential.
