Geist stands out for its membership-only model, which limits access to rewards programs to invited users. This model aims to prevent exploitation by bots and multiple accounts, common challenges in open blockchain networks. Invitations are primarily extended to Aavegotchi nft holders during the initial rollout phase, and each invitation grants access to the platform’s rewards programs, including airdrops, giveaways, and special events.
To become a member, invited users must accept the invitation and complete the steps required to activate their membership.
For non-Aavegotchi nft holders, there will be additional opportunities to apply for membership. Interested users can register on the Geist website and create a commemorative nft on Arbitrum or Base. However, membership is intentionally limited and only a select few applicants will be accepted.
