Parallel studies is about to expand its Web3 gaming prowess with an additional 120 sci-fi nft collectible cards dubbed ‘Planetfall’ via a mystery blind pack pre-sale on October 28 at 3pm (EST).
Players will soon be faced with a trifecta of unique card packs that introduce new keys and rare collectibles to the Parallel game. The ‘Player Pack’, priced at around $32 (0.018 eth), and the ‘Collector’s Pack’, which costs around $320 (0.18 eth) (which grants rarer cards than the former), both involve 10 cards each. However, you have to be careful with the ‘Collector’s Box’, which offers 10 collector’s packs, which equates to 100 highly desirable cards along with additional goodies for approximately $2,848 (1.6 eth).
Even if they will be available tomorrow, it’s worth noting that these long-awaited dynamic NFTs won’t become critical game components until Q1 or Q2 2024. However, a significant portion of these cards have been reserved for Manifest collectors and players, so it is recommended to act quickly to get one.
Once these intriguing nft cards are released, Parallel players can create their own card decks, selecting a powerful ‘Paragon’ main character to engage in head-to-head battles. The ultimate goal is to wipe out your opponent’s health pool with your most valuable virtual collectible.

Evolution of the Parallel nft card
Parallel first joined the nft sphere in March 2021 and as a result, witnessed a staggering trading volume of approximately $237 million (78,000 eth). Since launching in beta in July, it has introduced over 12,000 NFTs and sold nearly 6 million assets in total.
However, the upcoming release of nft game cards stands out from the previous ones. Instead of hosting the digital assets on Coinbase’s ethereum scaling network, Base, their newest versions will remain on the ethereum mainnet. Players can expect to pay slightly higher transaction fees than before. However, the hassle of connecting cryptocurrencies with Base for purchases will no longer be a burden.
On top of that, starting next week, Parallel will be introducing a new patch for its beta, which will bring numerous interesting additions, including new cosmetic skins, a battle pass, and improved gameplay options such as field backgrounds and emotes. Coming out on October 30, this patch will also introduce an in-game store and optimize “quality of life” improvements to improve the game’s visual design. Decks will also automatically select the rarest cards players have, simplifying the gaming experience and elevating player performance.
The vast sci-fi universe has also expanded its offerings to include an avatar PFP collection, which grants in-game advantages such as additional PRIME (Parallel’s ERC-20 token) as a reward for top players.
Through the expansion of its cards and benefits, Parallel’s ongoing commitment to player engagement and innovation continues to redefine the world of dynamic NFTs and online gaming. So be sure to grab a Planetfall nft tomorrow, before it’s too late!
