Long-awaited web3 gaming platform Ingenious Island has entered Open Beta.
Players can now create an account and play for free. Holders of over 140 major nft collections can play as 3D versions of their nft avatars within the game.
The launch of the Nifty Island Open Beta means that the game's Play-to-Airdrop system, whereby Open Beta participants earn $ISLAND tokens, is also available.

What is Nifty Island?
Nifty Island is a community-driven gaming platform where players can create and play games together, explore player-created islands, and compete for rewards.
Each player gets a free island plot. These can be used to build imaginative spaces, design lavish environments, and create games that other players can immerse themselves in, from competitive to casual and everything in between. Obstacle courses, Battle Royale modes, spy hunts, and more are included in the game.
User-generated content (UGC) is a big part of Nifty Island. Artists can create weapons, avatars, and environmental objects to place on their island or sell to other players to enhance their experience. Island designers can monetize by creating environments and experiences that attract players to their island.
Over 140 nft collections have partnered with Nifty Island, allowing users to play as their nft avatar and unlock exclusive in-game experiences. This includes projects like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pudgy Penguins, Cool Cats and many, many more.

How does Play-to-Airdrop work?
Players can climb the weekly leaderboards by playing mini-games and attracting players to their island by creating exciting games and experiences. This will earn you rewards ranging from in-game wearables to the coveted NFTs and $ISLAND tokens.
Missions, which will soon make their debut in the game, will give players another way to progress and earn a wide range of rewards.
Exact details regarding the activities that will reward $ISLAND tokens, or when the airdrop will take place, have not yet been revealed.
