Socios.coman influential blockchain-powered fan engagement platform, recently launched a hat trick of new features to enhance innovative fan experiences across the sports landscape.
Each new feature increases the utility of ‘Fan Tokens’, a digital token (nft) that can “transform passion into extraordinary rewards”, to improve connections between fans and their favorite sports teams.

Fan Favorite: Vote for ‘Man of the Match’
Firstly, ‘Fan Favorite’ amplifies fan engagement during match days, building on the existing ‘Predicator’ and ‘Check-in’ features. Through this new feature, fans can vote for their favorite player in the game 15 minutes before the match ends. Once the match comes to an end, the results are revealed and the winners get exclusive experiences as rewards.
In particular, Fan Favorite is rapidly gaining popularity because it provides fans with the unique opportunity to honor player achievements and win prizes. More than 260,000 votes have already been cast and, as a result, 57 football teams have participated.
Locker Room: Unlocking Digital Assets
Next, watch out for the ‘Locker Room’ feature, which allows fans to redeem unique digital items by “locking” their Fan Tokens.
There are two types of ‘Lockers’ available: ‘The closed locker’ and ‘The flexible locker’. The first allows sports fans to redeem their rewards immediately, although Fan Tokens remain locked until the campaign ends. The latter also gives fans the unique opportunity to unlock Fan Tokens and earn rewards. However, there is a problem: if you open it too soon, the reward may disappear.
The main goal of Locker Room is to reinforce the usefulness of Fan Tokens, providing fans with numerous rewards such as virtual and tangible goods, including real-world VIP experiences and signed products, as long as they remain strategic and cautious.
More than 3,000 users have interacted with this feature since its launch, locking approximately 30,000 Fan Tokens and collecting more than 25,000 virtual collectibles.
Auction: Win Exclusive Merchandise
Last but not least is the “Auction” feature, powered by the “Get The Ball, Own The Moment” company’s collaboration with the Serie A professional soccer league competition. Soccer fans can take advantage of the Socios app currency, $CHZ. , to place bets on matches, potentially winning soccer balls and autographed jerseys worn in matches based on their results.
In the near future, Socios hopes to expand the Auction feature to all football partners and further expand the boundaries of the Fan Favorite feature to include sports such as rugby and racing.
Despite already having more than 2 million users in 160 countries, these new Partner features showcase the platform’s strong dedication to enhancing sports fandom by issuing significant rewards to users around the world.
