FarmHouse Inc announced a new license agreement with a Mega Mutant Ape NFT. The company teased the collaboration via Twitter on Monday. The NFT in question is Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) #30000, also known as “Mega Robot”. The licensing agreement allows cannabis companies to license one of the most iconic NFTs in the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) universe.

FarmHouse has been actively expanding its NFT license portfolio since June. The company’s portfolio now includes popular collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club, MAYC, CryptoPunks, Meebits, CrypToadz, Doodles, and more.
What is special about this Mutant Ape NFT?
The Mega Robot NFT, owned by the Twitter user @Mr_Robot, occupies a special place in the BAYC universe. It is one of 12 highly exclusive megamutant monkeys. Also, Mega Robot transformed into a Mega Mutant Ape through the use of “Mutant Serum”. He was the first NFT to do it.
The MAYC is an NFT collection from Yuga Labs. Users can mutate a bored monkey by exposing it to the mutant serum. The Mega Serum is a highly sought after NFT due to its unpredictability in transforming a Bored Ape. In August 2022, Trippy Mega Mutant Bored Ape #30005, one of twelve NFT Mega Mutant Apes, sold for a record 2300 ETH ($3.91 million).
Can Popular NFTs Boost Sales?
FarmHouse aims to help marijuana companies reach web3 consumers by licensing recognizable NFTs. Previously, Farmhouse reported successful results from this strategy, with NFT-branded domestic weed achieving quarterly sales rates of over 80%. This is not new, however. Other brands have Bored Apes Leveraged NFTs to represent their web3 arms online.
