What to expect from the Open Beta?
As MetalCore opens to the public, players can expect an in-depth exploration of the MetalPunks faction.
The season will feature narrative content that will delve deeper into the history and storytelling of the MetalPunks, offering new missions and challenges that build on this theme.
The open beta will also feature competitive leaderboards, where players will be able to participate in various game modes, including PvX, PvP, and missions. Additionally, MetalCore has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5, with the aim of improving the visual quality and performance of the game.
New reward structure
Season 1 introduces a new rewards system with a total of 30 million $MCG tokens available for players to earn throughout the season.
In addition to this initial pool, the community will be able to unlock an additional 50 million $MCG tokens as they reach specific milestones. These milestones will be reached in phases, with the first goal being to have 1,000 Bronze-level players. Once this goal is reached, the first 10 million $MCG tokens from the bonus pool will be added to the available rewards.
Each subsequent goal will unlock more of the bonus pool, encouraging community participation and providing additional incentives.
Premium levels and game upgrades
The season also features premium tiers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) that players can purchase using in-game currency.
These tiers offer various benefits, such as increased in-game credits, reduced repair times, and exclusive in-game items. Marks earned by players during the season can be converted into $MCG tokens at the end, offering further rewards based on in-game performance.
In addition to premium tiers, several improvements are being made to the game. The quest system has been refined, with improvements to the First-Time User Experience (FTUE), making it easier for new players to get started. New quests have been added, including PvP rewards, to keep the content fresh and engaging.
The lobby system has also been improved to support new features such as Barony Wars, where players can engage in 10v10 strategic battles against rival baronies. This mode emphasizes strategy and team coordination.
Additionally, the game now features PvE raids, allowing teams to cooperate on high-stakes missions that require careful planning and execution. Players can also choose to engage in PvE or PvP modes on designated maps, providing a balanced and flexible gameplay experience.
