<a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/McDonalds” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>McDonald's has confirmed its partnership with the popular brand web3 <a target="_blank" href="https://x.com/doodles” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>scrawl launch a large-scale Christmas campaign.
Starting November 18, more than 100 million limited-edition McCafé cups featuring exclusive Doodles art will be available at participating McDonald's locations across the United States.
The campaign, titled “GM Spread Joy,” offers customers access to free digital experiences, exclusive collectibles and new animated content, combining the tradition of Christmas coffee moments with cutting-edge digital engagement.

The campaign focuses on limited-edition McCafé cups featuring artwork from Doodles' original nft collection, bringing the vibrant designs to a national audience.
Customers who purchase a drink in these cups through the McDonald's app will unlock digital “packs” containing unique rewards. These rewards include:
- McDonald's Themed Digital Wearables
- A pass to watch the Doodles animated series Dullsville and the Doodleverse
- Free access to the Doodles Stodio app to customize digital avatars
The campaign also includes new original music from Doodles Records and a Christmas animated short. This makes it one of McDonald's largest physical-based marketing initiatives linked to a digital campaign.
Additionally, the campaign will highlight Doodles in physical spaces, including McDonald's iconic Times Square billboard, which will feature Doodle-themed animations throughout the holiday season.
What else can we expect from this campaign?
The campaign will also offer rare enamel pins, which start out as digital collectibles and can be redeemed for physical versions through the Doodles app. The pins will be available for purchase in collector's packs starting November 26, with shipping options provided.
For those looking for traditional products, a line of McDonald's x Doodles collaborative products will be available starting December 5.
