A company that sells smart watch face designs through non -fungible tokens has sued LVMH, accusing the patent infraction fashion conglomerate.
In a complaint of March 10 presented to a Federal Court of Texas, Watch Skins Corporation claimed that LVMH miscalked its “pioneering nft visualization technology.”
Watch Skins said he developed a unique system that allows users to show works of art verified in smart watches and contains multiple patents related to technology.
He said that a smart watch brand of the LVMH clock, Tag Heuer and other products of the conglomerate brands, illegally used the nft nft technology based on three patents that possessed skins.

LVMH is a multinational holding company that has dozens of known luxury articles brands, including Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Tag Heuer, Tiffany, Christian Dior, Hennessy and the Champagne Moët & Chandon brand.
Watch Skins said its first patent covers a system that verifies nft's property before allowing it to be shown on a watch face, the second covers a system where an nft must be verified through a blockchain wallet before showing in a smart watch, and the third focuses on the recovery and visualization of custom clock faces based on nft property.
He said that Tag Heuer encouraged customers to violate patents by providing instructions on how to use their nft screen functions.
“The clock allows the nft to be shown if it is owned by the user cryptographic wallet (Y) connects to a user's cryptographic wallet to guarantee the authenticity of the works shown,” the complaint explained.
