Lebron James has accomplished another feat in his illustrious basketball career by breaking the all-time NBA regular season scoring record. This on-court achievement has resulted in increased interest in LeBron’s NFTs, as fans clamor to own a piece of history.
On February 7, the 38-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star cemented his place as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer with 38,388 points, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record of 38,387 points that stood for 34 years. Reports indicate that LeBron’s NFT sales have skyrocketed since he broke the record, with a total trade volume of $652K. Sales began picking up on February 5, racking up more than $234,000 in total sales thus far.
NBA Top Shot, in collaboration with the NBA and NBPA, introduced a special limited edition Legendary level collectible to commemorate LeBron James’ recent milestone. Launching in just 99 editions, with 25 pre-reserved for the platform’s top collectors, and the remaining 74 available for holders of $9 Star Hot Packs. The top 25 LeBron James collectors on the NBA Top Shot player leaderboard on February 7 received a free airdrop of this historic “Legendary Moment.” This collectible represents the first moment in LeBron’s Anthology Collection, which will showcase some of the highlights of his career at varying levels of rarity for years to come.

The recent NFT drop of NBA Top Shot-Stars Hot Packs created a lot of excitement and excitement among collectors and fans.
