Ever since NFTs entered the public eye, an undercurrent of scam artists has worked to separate collectors from their high-value assets. One of the latest victims is none other than kevin rosethe co-founder of Proof Collective, the team behind the moon birds collection. According to Kevin Rose himself, up to a million dollars worth of NFTs were stolen from his asset wallet in a dastardly hack.
Details about the robbery
Rose took to Twitter to reveal to her 1.6 million followers that she had lost 40 NFTs from her krovault.eth wallet. Some of the assets stolen from her were Chromie Squiggles, as well as an NFT Autoglyphs.

So far, OpenSea has frozen the affected assets so they can’t be sold on the exchange, though they can still be sold elsewhere, and while Rose hasn’t confirmed how exactly the hackers gained access to her wallet, some theories are out there. circulating.
