Tron founder Justin Sun has just announced on Twitter the conclusion of his term as Grenada’s ambassador on March 31.

Sun is no longer Grenada’s ambassador
Sun tweeted that his term as the aforementioned ambassador ends on March 31. He announced his future career ambitions by declaring his intention to re-enter the crypto space.
However, Sun will first hand over his ambassadorial responsibilities to a successor.
The crypto KOL intends to take a short break after transferring his responsibilities before returning to the cryptocurrency industry.
Grenada Broadcasting Network (GBN) reported that Justin Sun had been sacked earlier.
The New National Party that gave Sun the embassy lost to the Democratic National Congress which won the general election in June 2022.
The Grenada government has selected Sun to serve as the country’s permanent representative to the WTO in December 2021.
Since then, it has been noted that Sun’s Twitter handle contained the prefix ‘HE’, a symbol used for high-ranking authorities or diplomats.
In his tweets, Sun was grateful for the opportunity to work with the WTO.

Controversy over Sun’s ambassadorial status
Recently, there has been controversy surrounding Justin Sun’s ambassadorial status, with many reports alleging that the crypto KOL is no longer a diplomat.
Despite the rumours, however, Sun insisted that he was still a Grenada diplomat at times before accepting that he had lost the post.
Sun shared a screenshot from March 31, stating that he has an active profile as Grenada’s ambassador on the World Trade Organization (WTO) internal registration page.
The Tron founder also provided a screenshot of the internal WTO website, identifying him as a permanent ambassador for Grenada.
