What is Immutable x Marketplace?
Immutable x Marketplace is a gas-free platform designed to facilitate the trading of nfts and other digital assets, leveraging the StarkEx Layer 2 scaling solution on ethereum.
The platform supported various games and digital collectibles and gained popularity for its eco-friendly approach and partnership with several gaming projects including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians, Cross the Ages, and many more.
The platform was initially created as a showcase for the features that are available to developers through the Immutable SDK.
What should users do?
Immutable Marketplace users will not need to take any special action regarding their assets.
All nfts and tokens are stored on the blockchain, linked to users’ wallet addresses, and accessible across different marketplaces using the immutable global order book. This order book ensures that listings remain consistent across multiple platforms, meaning that users’ listings will remain active on other marketplaces without any additional steps required.
Users are also encouraged to explore various third-party alternatives for trading nfts on the Immutable x chain, with suggested marketplaces including TokenTrove, AtomicHub, and Sphere.
Apart from these, other platforms such as Rarible, Mintable, and NFTrade also support trading on Immutable x.
