What do we know so far about the Illuvium Open Beta?
Starting April 30, Illuvium will offer up to 10,000 players the opportunity to enjoy the full Illuvium gaming experience on testnet, with the goal of perfecting features such as Immutable Passport integration, asset minting, Illuvidex trading, the purchase of fuel and travel mechanics.
Participants will receive Airdrop points for their participation, which can be converted into $ILV tokens.
Following Private Beta 4, the Open Beta phase of the testnet will begin on May 28 and will be available to everyone through the Epic Games Store. This phase is expected to last 2-4 weeks before the Open Beta goes live on mainnet.
90% of the Play-to-Airdrop $ILV pool will be distributed over the next five months. Players will continue to accumulate Airdrop points during the Private and Open Beta phases, corresponding to $ILV rewards.
A set of gameplay and feature improvements based on player feedback is expected to arrive in the coming months.
