Montreal-based electronic music festival, ‘igloofesthas created a fun-filled contest to commemorate its 15th anniversary. In partnership with Mega Labs, the collectible Yetis are hidden in Igloo Village, which festival-goers must find by exploring five different locations.
As the freezing nights and winter chills roll in, thoughts of the elusive Yeti come to mind. The Igloofest festival capitalizes on this with its unique ‘Yeti Hunt’ experience. Music festival attendees will have the chance to collect NFTs, built on the Polygon blockchain, featuring individual images of Yetis inspired by the festival’s winter themes. Let’s go to the details:
what you need to know
Attendees must collect 21 different Yetis, with one Yeti arriving per weekend for each of the five activities. Participants can claim their NFT by scanning a QR code that is available at each of the five festival activity spaces. As such, the fun-filled venues will include activities such as the Sapporo Ice Slide, Vidéotron Marshmallow Roast, National Bank Igloogym, Poppers Iglooswag Photo Booth and the Vidéotron Stage.
The more Yetis you hunt and collect, the higher your chances of winning prizes and rewards, with major prizes including:
- Igloofest Quebec trip for two that also includes 3-day festival passes. The sponsored trip will also include train transportation via Rail, a pair of Igloofest hats, and two nights at the Hilton Quebec.
- Free entry to one of the Igloofest clubs
- Access to the Après-Ski discos on Friday and Saturday nights
