Now NBA fans can get a slice of the NFT pie thanks to a new deal between Warner Bros. Discovery Sports and immutable X.
The two have released B/R Clock 2 Earn, a fan rewards program, which made its debut in the nba on tnt transmission.

How does the program work
The way fans can benefit from this program is by correctly answering basketball related trivia questions. A QR code will appear during the broadcast that can be scanned to access the trivia page or users can visit BRW2E.com to participate. For questions that you answer correctly, you will receive B/R W2E tokens that were developed by Immutable X.
By doing this, they can redeem their tokens for NFT video reels, which have become quite popular over the last year thanks to NBA Top Shot, as well as items like hoodies and t-shirts. In addition, as the team behind the initiative has explained, it is a new way of connecting fans with the sports they love.
“With the blockchain and digital collectibles, fans have a unique way to engage with the show and participate in the show in interesting ways. We want to get to a place where you collect tokens and can impact what you can see in the air. So the more you participate, the more you can get involved,” says Yang Adija, senior vice president of digital league business operations, growth and innovation at WBD Sports.
