Popular NFT PFP Project, gods, has been planning to go cross chain for a while now; however, the project could have completed one of its biggest crossovers by connecting with Bitcoin. As such, the collection has committed to the Ordinals project to bring some of its NFTs to the undisputed king of distributed records.
For starters, DeGods will connect a small part of his digital collectibles to Bitcoin as part of his long-term vision. At least that’s the sentiment of Kevin Henrikson, CEO of Dust Labs, the platform behind DeGods. By doing this, the project hopes to present a one-of-a-kind minting experience for fans of the project, on the oldest running blockchain network.
All successful BTC DeGods minters will receive their signups immediately after minting.
You will then be able to list it on any exchange or use our dedicated OTC trading desk on our Discord.
Good luck to all.

Last December, DeGods offered collectors the chance to migrate their NFTs to the Ethereum network. This is news that was not well received within the Solana community, where the project originates from. But as Henrikson points out, DeGod’s mission is to be the leading NFT community across all networks.
“First Solana, now Bitcoin, and soon Polygon and Ethereum once we migrate and grow on those chains. We’re not just trying to go to every network, but we’re being thoughtful and determined about how you can broaden our vision.”
DeGods on Bitcoin
That being said, the latest crossover is called “DeGods on Bitcoin”. As of March 17, the project intended to burn 535 NFTs and mint them into Bitcoin. Of that number, 500 digital avatars will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and potential bidders will require at least 0.444 BTC or $12,464 as of press time to participate.
The remaining 35 items will be auctioned for $DUST, the community utility token, with all proceeds donated to DustDAO. The decentralized autonomous organization will be formed to govern the $DUST token after DeGods merges with y00ts.
By bridging to Bitcoin, DeGods follows in the footsteps of other popular collections that have gone the same way, such as CryptoPunks and OnChainMonkey.
