Since returning to Solana just a few days ago, DeGods and y00ts' nft collections have seen a notable increase in value despite the community backlash.
At the time of writing, around 3,000 DeGods have left ethereum, with 5,100 y00ts returning from Polygon, increasing their price floors to 51 SOL and almost 13 SOL.
However, some community members criticize the timing of Solana's review of the nft project, with one member commenting twitter.com/PrattyCrypto/status/1786145979109933398″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>in x“How can you support a project that left our network at its darkest moment and is now rejoining when Solana is the place to be?”
According to CryptoSlam data, the Solana blockchain is currently up 71.99%. However, the network still lags behind ethereum and bitcoin.
The History of DeGods Chain Breakers
During that same weekend, DeGods took twitter.com/DeGodsNFT/status/1607156858019794944?s=20&t=hoMVpqEync_Z2YXCYxebDQ” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>to x to reveal its plan to migrate to ethereum, while its counterpart, y00ts, revealed its intention to transition to Polygon next year.

In October 2023, the transition finally began. Surprisingly, a staggering 4,600 holders migrated their assets from Polygon to ethereum within the first seven hours of being feasible.
Additionally, the migration involved the transfer of DeGods' DUST token, used to trade and mint nfts within its ecosystem, to the respective blockchains.
DeGods also crossed the bitcoin bridge on March 21, 2023 to capitalize on the success of Ordinals nfts.
