The Cinema Club has returned to decentralized for the third year in a row, this time with an exciting partner and exciting giveaways.
After holding two successful Film Club Competitions, Decentraland is joining forces with HTC to host another round of their exciting competition. As a result, the Decentraland Foundation will offer attractive rewards and prizes ranging from Vive Flow VR and MANA headsets for the best video renderings.
The topic of the videos should show what you like about Decentraland. So budding directors can highlight the best events, facilities and experiences from across their virtual environment. Then, later in the year, the most inspiring creations will be featured at Decentraland’s fun birthday party.
Decentraland is known for its innovation and many firsts, and this year is no exception. With excitement pumping stronger than ever, there are several reasons to expect a flurry of creative developments.

How can you participate?
- Create a video with a maximum duration of 30 seconds. The footage should be directly related to Decentraland and should focus on what you like about it.
- Post it on Twitter with the hashtag #DCLFilmClub
- Individual Participants may only claim one prize.
- The Decentraland Foundation will have permission to use the videos in marketing materials and share them on social media, as well as to the world during the Decentraland birthday party event.
- Winners will be contacted via Twitter DM. If you do not respond with the requested information within a week, your prize will go to the next best.
- The last day to submit your creation is February 8, 2023 at 7am UTC.
To ensure a safe viewing experience, all videos submitted must be suitable for a work environment. Creators are free to select any tool models, images and audio as long as they do not infringe any copyright issues. Then, if necessary, users must obtain usage rights. Decentraland has always focused on originality, so the contest expects unique content from the creators. In addition, Decentraland has also shared tips and tricks for the best recording experience.

1st Place: Vive Flow VR Headset + 600 MANA
2nd Place: Vive Flow VR Headset + 300 MANA
3rd Place: Vive Flow VR Headset + 150 MANA
4-10th Place: Vive Flow VR Headset
