Canary Capital has become the first asset administrator to request a contribution quoted in the stock market that has cryptocurrencies and non -fungible tokens.
According to March 20 presentationCanary Capital plans to launch an ETF that tracks the huge penguins ecosystem, combining exposure to the project government form, Pengum (Pechem), along with a collection of its nft. It would also be the first ETF that is quoted in the United States to contain nft directly if approved.
The presentation describes that the trustee will have a penguin, as well as the grocers, with additional digital assets such as Sol (Sun) and eth (eth) included “as necessary or incidental” for the transactions involving the main holdings of the background.
With this, Canary seeks to optimize operational needs, such as buying, selling or transferring assets within the trust.
Pudgy Penguins has become one of the most recognized nft collections in space, and is known for its playful art and strong community presence. Pechem threw himself in December as the Ecosystem governance token, designed to tell the holders in the direction of the project.
Since its launch, Pengu has landed on platforms like Robinhood, but the price has not been maintained, it has currently dropped more than 90% since its maximum December of all time. The news of the ETF presentation caused a brief rally, but the profits faded in an hour.
Meanwhile, the presentation adds another notch to the growing list of crypto ETF applications of Canary. Only a few days before, the firm presented documents for an ETF Spot linked to Sui, the native token of the Sui Layer-1 network.
Last month, its ETF Litecoin appeared in the Depository Trust and Cleaning Corporation under the LTCC Ticker.
The rhythm of ETF presentations has occurred in all areas, especially since the SEC began to change its position under the new mandate of President Donald Trump.
Dozens of ETF Altcoin proposals have reached the regulator desktop in recent weeks, from serious L1 contents such as Solana (Sun) to more speculative selections such as Dogecoin and even Trump's official (Trump).
